Dr. Vishal N. Patel, M.D., Ph.D. is a Visiting Instructor, Center for Proteomics and Bioinformatics, Case Western Reserve University and Research Fellow at Center for Clinical Informatics Research and Education, The MetroHealth Hospital System Cleveland, OH, U.S.A. visited IOB.
Dr. Surajit Dhara, Ph.D. is currently DBT-NIBMG Fellow at National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), Kalyani, West Bengal, India and is also an Adjunct Faculty at Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. During his visit, he attended the Ph.D. viva voce of one of the students at IOB as a reviewer.
Prof. P. K. Tiwari, Ph.D., from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, visited IOB. Presently he is Professor in Zoology and coordinator of the M. Sc. Program in Molecular & Human Genetics at the Centre for Genomics, Jiwaji University.
Dr. Milind Shenvi, Ph.D., currently Senior Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Sai Life Sciences Limited, Bangalore, India, visited IOB. He started his industrial career with Astra Zeneca in Bangalore where he spent 15 years and worked in the therapeutic areas such as cancer and infectious disease.
Dr. Lloyd Vincent, M.D., D.M., M.Sc., M.H.S.C., C.H.E., is a Senior Consultant Nephrologist and Clinical Director of the Dialysis services at the Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals and Satellite centres, Bangalore, India. He was formerly Associate Professor and Head of Nephrology at St John's Medical College, Bangalore, India. He visited IOB and gave a talk on Diabetic Nephropathy.
Dr Sucheta B. Kurundkar, Ph.D., Director-Training and Dr. Sudhakar Bangera, MD, MMedSc, Program Director from Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA), an extramural unit of Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) and Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Program Officer from PATH visited IOB.
