Institute of Bioinformatics in collaboration with Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Centre and Strand Life Sciences conducted a 3 day DBT workshop on Cancer Proteomics from Jan 27th -Jan 29th that was open to all clinicians, young investigators and Ph.D scholars working in the areas of Cancer Biology and Proteomics. The topics covered in the workshop included clinico pathological and molecular biology views of cancer, in addition to quantitative proteomic methods, data generation and processing and subsequent bioinformatics analysis. The program was conducted in two parts. Part I included perspective talks and lectures by eminent scientists (see details). Part II was a hands-on lab and training session followed by data analysis on Proteome Discoverer. It was attended by young researchers and clinicians from various parts of India and was well received by the participants.
