Neetika Jaisinghani obtained her M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under Dr. Sheetal Gandotra at CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), New Delhi, whose lab mainly works on host- pathogen interactions in Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. Her research work involves elucidating the mechanism of lipid uptake by Mycobacteria from the host and foamy macrophage formation.
Ankur Bothra obtained his M.Sc. degree in Molecular and Human Genetics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. He is currently a Ph.D. scholar at CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), New Delhi under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Rao. His research work involves understanding the intricacies of lipid metabolic pathways in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. His prime objective is to understand the biological/molecular funtion(s) of Mmpl family of genes in the same. He is currently studying the underlying pathobiology of tuberculosis from the pathogen perspective.
